The Elias Monastery is not Catholic, rather a modern co-ed group
of celibate Christians, Jews, and Muslims preparing for the arrival
of Elijah, the defeat of Gog and Magog, and the ushering in of
worldwide peace that defeats Satan - winning the game for God.
The Game of Earth was first played with dinosaurs, with no clear winner.
So God and Satan went back to the animal drawing board.
Then the game switched to human animal players.
If Satan can kill off all the players, Satan wins the game,
but if God can get all the humans to live in peace
with each other, then God wins the game.
